Why These Pests Are Easy to Miss

Fabric and pantry pests often cause damage before you ever know they’re there—inside a bag of flour, in a stored wool coat, or along the edge of a carpet.

By the time you notice adults flying, the real damage has usually already started.

Our certified technicians identify the pest, trace it back to the source, and recommend the right next steps—whether that means treating the area, removing an infested food item, or addressing a storage space where the problem began.

Because these pests can spread from a single source, finding and clearing that source is the most important step toward stopping the problem.

What Types Do We Treat?

Clothing Moth (Webbing)

Golden-tan adults with reddish head hairs; cream-colored larvae with brown heads. Feed on wool, silk, and other natural fibers in closets and storage.

Indian Meal Moth (Pantry)

Adult wings tan on the inner third, reddish-brown on the outer two-thirds. Larvae infest grains, cereal, flour, and dried goods.

Carpet Beetle

Round, dark, often with a white/mottled pattern; larvae are hairy. Feed on carpets, upholstery, and natural fibers.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does treatment cost?

Clothing moth treatment starts at $375 plus tax; pantry (Indian meal) moth treatment starts at $325 plus tax. Carpet beetle pricing is confirmed after inspection.

How did I get pantry moths?

They usually arrive inside packaged dry goods bought at the store, then spread to other open packages in the pantry.

How do I get rid of them for good?

The source package has to be found and removed; treatment handles the surrounding area and any that have spread.

Are clothing moths and carpet beetles the same?

No — both damage natural fibers, but they're different pests with different habits, so identification matters for treatment.
