✳️ Tier 1 – Technician
- Experience: 90 days at GPS
- Pesticide Licensing: Maintain Registered Technician License
- Training:
- Attend and participate in Bi-Weekly Meetings (Discussion/Feedback)
- NPMA Intro to Pest Groups
- Complete and pass the internal Paylocity Exam: “Technician Advancement Program (TAP) – Pest Technician”.
- Performance:
- Rating in Paylocity of 3.0 or greater.
- Most recent QA Backtrack Audit Score >80%. Premium Plus >90%.
- No missing PIN Checklists, Unsigned Agreements, Missing Billing, or Late Paylocity Trainings within the last 30 days.
- No corrective action within last 6 months.
✳️ Tier 2 – Certified Technician
- Experience: 6 months of applicator experience or 12 months industry experience.
- Pesticide Licensing: Obtain core and household pest category in the primary state you are based in.
- Training:
- Assist in training fellow Technicians
- Presents/Assists Manager on Meeting Topic
- NPMA Trainings:
- Ants: Biology, Behavior, and Control.
- Stinging Insects.
- Controlling Cockroaches.
- Rodenticide Stewardship.
- Bed Bug Basics.
- Attend (3) CEU Short courses/offsite trainings.
- CPR Certified – Virtual Training on demand.
- OSHA 10 Training.
- Safety: Zero at fault vehicle accidents/safety incidents due to negligence in the last 12 months (rolling calendar). Driver safety score >85% in Motive in the last 6 months (rolling calendar).
- Performance:
- Rating in Paylocity of 3.0 or greater.
- Most recent QA Backtrack Audit Score >85%. Premium Plus >90%.
- No missing PIN Checklists, Unsigned Agreements, Missing Billing, or Late Paylocity Trainings within the last 30 days.
- No corrective action within last 6 months.
- Pay Increase: $1.00/Hour
✳️ Tier 3 – Senior Technician
- Experience: 24 months of industry experience with at least 12 of those months at GPS
- Pesticide Licensing: Maintain core and household pest category credits & obtain termite/wood destroying pest category.
- Training:
- Mentors/Trains new Technicians
- Presents/Assists at a Pest Kick-off Meeting
- NPMA Trainings:
- Using Pyrethroids Responsibly for Effective Pest Management.
- Stored Product Pests.
- PMPs as Protectors of Public Health.
- Wood Destroying Beetles.
- NPMA-33 Wood Destroying Insect Report.
- Complete Sentricon Univ. – Become Sentricon Certified.
- Attend (5) CEU pesticide short courses/offsite trainings.
- Safety: Zero at fault vehicle accidents/safety incidents due to negligence in the last 12 months (rolling calendar). Driver safety score >90% in Motive in the last 6 months (rolling calendar).
- Performance:
- Rating in Paylocity of 3.0 or greater.
- Most recent QA Backtrack Audit Score >90%. Premium Plus >90%.
- No missing PIN Checklists, Unsigned Agreements, Missing Billing, or Late Paylocity Trainings within the last 60 days.
- No corrective action within last 6 months.
- Pay Increase: $1.50/Hour
✳️ Tier 4 – Industry Certified Pest Specialists
- Experience: 36 months of industry experience with at least 18 months at GPS.
- Pesticide Licensing: Maintain core/category credits, & obtain School IPM category. Acquire reciprocated licenses in service lines in all states we service (PA,NJ,DE).
- Training:
- Mentors/Trains new Technicians
- Co-run a station at a Pest Kick-off Meeting
- Pass C.I.T. Exam – Obtain Certified IPM Technician certification.
- Safety: Zero at fault vehicle accidents/safety incidents due to negligence in the last 12 months (rolling calendar). Driver safety score >90% in Motive in the last 6 months (rolling calendar).
- Performance:
- Rating in Paylocity of 3.0 or greater.
- Most recent QA Backtrack Audit Score >90%. Premium Plus >90%.
- No missing PIN Checklists, Unsigned Agreements, Missing Billing, or Late Paylocity Trainings within the last 90 days.
- No corrective action within last 6 months.
- Pay Increase: $2.00/Hour
✳️ Tier 5 – Associate Certified Entomologist
- Experience: 60 months of industry experience with at least 36 months at GPS.
- Pesticide Licensing: Maintain core/category credits & obtain Public Health - Vertebrates category.
- Training:
- Mentors/Trains new Technicians
- Presents at or Co-run a station at a Pest Kick-off Meeting
- Pass A.C.E. Exam – Obtain Associate Certified Entomologist designation.
- Safety: Zero at fault vehicle accidents/safety incidents due to negligence in the last 12 months (rolling calendar). Driver safety score >90% in Motive in the last 6 months (rolling calendar).
- Performance:
- Rating in Paylocity of 3.0 or greater.
- Most recent QA Backtrack Audit Score >93%. Premium Plus >90%.
- No missing PIN Checklists, Unsigned Agreements, Missing Billing, or Late Paylocity Trainings within the last 90 days.
- No corrective action within last 12 months.
- Pay Increase: $2.50/Hour
